Genesis is a legendary singer-songwriter and, depending on who you ask, possibly also a ‘wrecker of civilisation’. The veteran of art collective COUM Transmission and pioneering industrial band Throbbing Gristle is also known for the Pandrogyne Project: Genesis and partner Jacqueline Breyer sought to merge themselves, through surgery and other means, into one being to express their love for each other. Gosh.

This darling of the avant garde promises psychedelia and poetry, and will appear at Mofo with long-time collaborator and fellow Psychic TV member, Edley ODowd.

Genesis will also take part in a Q&A with Lawrence English (Room 40) after the January 20 screening of The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye.
