Mofo godfather Brian Ritchie says Gotye is ‘a true artist’. He and his pals will gather in concert to honour the late, great French electronic composer and pop visionary, Jean-Jacques Perrey, with a pre-synth extravaganza celebrating the Ondioline—an early, and now rare, electronic instrument.

Gotye, a budding Ondiolinist himself, will perform as part of the Ondioline Orchestra, featuring Rob Schwimmer on theremin/keyboard, vintage synth expert Joe McGinty and members of indie pop band Zammuto. Presented in a double bill with Skin Migration by Tannery, the Tasmanian Taiko and Leather Orchestra.
